Employee Highlight: Rett Addy, Sr. Consultant/ Project Manager
Rett Addy is a versatile professional with 28 years experience in information systems, and specializing in real time data acquisition and controls with over 14 years in the healthcare industry. He has managed, architected and implemented large-scale integration projects using Cloverleaf at several prestigious healthcare facilities as well as High Availability Implementations. In addition, he has conducted training classes for Cloverleaf, Unix System Administration and XML with a focus on architecture and implementation for long term maintenance and support of data interfaces and interface engines. In addition, he has specified, designed, implemented, and supported several custom and standard products for the healthcare industry. Rett's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the completion of many technical courses. Rett participated in a panel discussion held by National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics concerning the implementation of the Electronic Medical Record.
He is currently supporting Cloverleaf projects at several facilities as well as acting as the Project Manager and implementer for reference labs using Accenx's HIE product to route and deliver lab results to physician practice EMRs.
His first employer was Boeing where as a rookie engineer he designed the hardware and software prototype used to implement the Engine Monitor, Cooling System Monitor and the Flap/Slat controller for the 757 and the 767. He hopes he got it right with all the flying he has done.
