MidMichigan Health Purchases RyTRAK HIE for EMR Interoperability
Irvine CA, March 16, 2007 - Accenx Technologies, Inc. a leading integration solutions company and a trusted partner in healthcare announced that MidMichigan Health, located in Midland, MI, has subscribed to Accenx’s EMR interoperability solution, RyTRAK-HIE to deliver EMR interoperability to its physicians throughout Michigan.
MidMichigan Health was seeking a solution, which would enable its hospitals, including MidMichigan Medical Center and Gratiot Medical Center, to offer electronic transmission of all clinical results to physician offices’ EMRs throughout the region. MidMichigan Health selected Accenx and RyTRAK HIE because of the sustainability of the company, extensive experience in integration, but more importantly, because of Accenx’s strategy of partnering with MidMichigan Health in implementing the EMR interoperability solution.
“We selected Accenx and RyTRAK HIE over other vendors because the company shows great longevity, they have proven their integration knowledge and experience, and they have shown a willingness to facilitate the implementation process,” shares Linda Harms, Application and Integration Manager, MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland. “When we subscribed to RyTRAK HIE, we knew Accenx’s partnership would prove to be beneficial in assuming the implementation and support for the physician practice and coordination with the physician practice’s EMR vendor.”
Unlike other vendor products, where other vendors drop in their technology and leave it up to customers to implement EMR interoperability, RyTRAK HIE does not introduce hardware costs and maintenance, does not increase the work load and costs on IT staff, does not require costly VPNs, and provides a lower cost of entry for physician practices to achieve EMR interoperability.
“We are excited to bring this solution to MidMichigan Health. RyTRAK HIE will enable MidMichigan Health’s hospitals a win-win scenario, where the hospitals will win physician loyalty by delivering pertinent electronic clinical results to physician practice EMRs, while physician practices will extend their continuity of care data to improve efficiencies in the delivery of care, increasing the quality of care while meeting regulatory and other pay for performance requirements,” states David Cheng, CEO & President, Accenx Technologies, Inc.
