ACL Laboratories Selects Accenx For EMR Integration
CHICAGO (November 18, 2009) – Accenx™, a wholly owned subsidiary of Initiate Systems, Inc., a leader in data management solutions for information sharing and improved data quality, announced today that ACL Laboratories has chosen Accenx Exchange™ to provide rapid and seamless electronic medical record (EMR) integration from ACL Laboratories to its customers, including physician practices and other reference labs.
The laboratory outreach business is undergoing dramatic change when it comes to client interface needs, ranging from a simple physician practice management system to a more complex EMR system. The needs are further complicated by the potential for hundreds of vendor applications. “At ACL Laboratories, our clients were requesting anything from ADT, results only or results with orders interfaces, and they wanted timelines,” said Vince Grzetich, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at ACL Laboratories. “If your goal is to grow or maintain your client base in this new laboratory market, you better be able to meet the market conditions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
